Assessment Fun! – Workshop

The Durham ETFO Occasional Teachers’ Local is pleased to announce the following professional learning opportunity:

Assessment Fun!

(This workshop ran in December 2015.  Those on the waiting list have been registered for the upcoming workshop running on Jan. 14; at this time we still have spots open!)

Presenter: Ryan Tindale

What if there was a program out there that could mark 25 quizzes in 15 seconds, and then neatly lay the marks on an Excel spreadsheet? Not only does this save time, but your students will suddenly enjoy doing quizzes! You’ll learn how to use Kahoot, which has been called Playstation for Education, Socrative.com, and Google Forms. I’ll share how I quickly used these programs in my own daily supply work to enhance the plans left from the teacher. Bring a cell phone, tablet, or laptop and you can try them both with me. (The Local also has laptops for you to use – just let us know if you need one.) Grades 3-12. Handouts and links to how-to videos will be provided.
