Student-led inquiry prepares today’s learners for a rapidly changing future by developing their skills to think, learn and create and to be able to locate, evaluate and use information effectively (Kuhithau, et al, 2012)
This workshop will provide an overview of what student-led inquiry looks like and will offer techniques to help students develop their own voice, focus on a big idea and create critical questions.
The workshop will explain in detail the four phases of inquiry: exploring, investigating, processing and creating.
Participants are encouraged to bring a personal mobile device or ILP laptop as the exploration and investigation of online resources will be a component of the workshop. Additional laptops will be available.
