Components of Balanced Numeracy 

This workshop will focus on the planning and structure of a balanced numeracy program, paying attention to the vision of the mathematics learner.  Different components of a balanced numeracy program, including shares, guided, and independent math, will be discussed.  Practical strategies for planning 3-part lessons as well as assessment in the mathematics program will be discussed.
