June 14, 2018 CPR / Medical Emergency Training

Occasional Staff play an important role in school communities. This training session is designed to support staff in this role. Participants receive CPR-C Certification through the Life Saving Society upon completion. In addition to receiving your CPR-C Certificate, awareness of the other medical emergencies will be covered including:

choking
allergic reactions / Sabrina’s Law
respiratory emergencies (asthma, hyperventilation)
bleeds
shock
diabetes
seizures
emergency scene management

NOTE: THIS IS A 5 HOUR TRAINING SESSION AND PARTICPANTS MUST BE PREPARED TO STAY FOR THE DURATION.
