The Member and Service Engagement Award recognizes the excellence of ETFO locals in engaging members, providing outstanding service, and employing innovative strategies to communicate with and involve members in the Federation.
The Durham Occasional Teachers’ Local won this award based on our PL workshops (held over 50 evenings), our orientations, social events, PL Funding program, mentoring sessions, as well as the implementation of our new website and use of Constant Contact including their Event Management System.
Our Thanks Goes Out To:
The awesome members who nominated our Local for this award! Also, a huge thanks to all our members who have participated in the many events and activities this Local has to offer. And finally, we acknowledge this would not have been possible without the presenters, organizers, committee members, mentors, and other hard workers who have made these events and activities possible.
Please Join a Committee during the 2018-2020 term and let’s keep the momentum going!
Have a great summer!
