Your ETFO Durham Occasional Teachers’ Local is pleased to provide this professional learning opportunity with presenter Ryan Tindale.
At this workshop, Ryan will be giving you some tools to try in the first week of your LTO. Alternatively, if you are working on a daily basis, put these tools in your toolbox and try them out if there are no day plans from the classroom teacher or they are not long enough to fill the day. Ryan will share how to use Kahoot for assessment and as a get to know each other game. You’ll survey Plickers which you can use without laptops or Chromebooks. If time permits, Ryan will share an October initiative called the Global Read Aloud.Handouts will be provided for everything.
There will be two (2) workshops offered on this day; both are technology workshops. Members may register for either one or both. Registration for THIS workshop is through this notice only. Registration for the AFTERNOON workshop is through a separate notice.
