Health & Safety – Supporting Staff and Students.
In this AM session participants will receive information about the makeup of the Health and Safety Support Team.
Participants will learn how to recognize / be aware of early warning signs and escalating behaviours. Management strategies to use when there is a risk of injury behaviours will be a focus. Information will be shared with staff related to the risk of injury behaviours, as well, the process to report incidents of workplace violence will be covered.

PARTICIPATANTS: Limited to 150
NOTE: This is a paid Professional Learning Event; participants will be paid the standard daily rate for the morning (half day). Participants should commit to arriving on time and staying for the entire presentation in order to be paid.
Occasional Teachers who are on an LTO will NOT be able to register for this event – you will be participating in events organized by your school. If you are not sure please check with your school’s Prncipal.
