Coding is a trending topic in education. Ryan Tindale will introduce what coding is and why it’s becoming so popular. He’ll explain block coding and even have a few robots on hand for you to try yourself. He will show the basics of Scratch, the most popular coding platform in education and how you can incorporate a Makey Makey board. Ryan will also bring lots of curriculum connections that you can bring back to your class. Or, as an OT you can show off your skills while daily supply teaching when you see hundreds of those little bots around the Board.
