Presenters: Jane Irvine & Tammy Abrumczuk, Programs K to 6 Facilitators, DDSB
This in-service will provide an overview of Numeracy Nets, highlighting a quick and easy-to-use classroom assessment and planning tool to provide a snapshot of student mathematical proficiency based on big ideas “checkpoints”. This will provide educators with an understanding of how misconceptions impact on students’ development of a conceptual understanding in mathematics.
