Should the DOTL Repeat the Summer Picnic this Year?
Now that Spring is here – are you looking forward to the Summer? Last July, the DOTL hosted our first “Family Fun Picnic” at Cedar Park Resort in Bowmanville. The picnic was well attended by 120 + members, spouses/partners and children/grandchildren. We played traditional games, went swimming, flew down water slides, played mini-golf and enjoyed a BBQ while relaxing and enjoying a day at the park. The feedback we received was extremely positive with many members hoping to return again this year. However, it has been strongly suggested by some members of the executive and social committee that we cancel this event. Before any decision is made, we would like to hear from you, our members. Are you interested in attending the Summer Picnic, scheduled for Sunday July 9, 2017. Please take the Poll below so the DOTL Executive can make an informed decision.
