Repeat by Popular Demand: Animation and Film Making in the Classroom

Your Durham Occasional Teachers’ Local is pleased to, again, bring you this exciting and fun workshop with presenter Joel Campbell.

This 2-part workshop will explore the significance and use of animation and film making as a cross-curricular, expressive medium in the modern classroom. We will investigate different tools and techniques used to tell stories through animation using various current software application and technology.  There will be a focus on stop-animation techniques and how this medium can be utilized for project based learning activities in the classroom.

Please bring a laptop and be ready for some hands on fun!

NOTE:  This is a 2-part workshop – participants must attend both dates.
