Coding in the new Ontario Mathematics Curriculum, grades 1-8
Coding is a continuum of learning building from sequential, concurrent, looped, nested and conditional events. Students will learn to code with efficiency, subprograms, and variables.
In this session, we will explore curriculum content.
We will become familiar with what the progression of coding expectations looks like and how to assess this across the Ontario Curriculum.
