The 3-part series runs from 4:30 – 6:30 on Tuesdays, January 15, 22 & 29, 2019
Attendance is mandatory at all 3 sessions in order to keep the resource.
Participants will be able to sign up for ONE of the sections based on the following descriptions:
4A – Visible Learning in Literacy: In this 3-part series participants will explore both Ministry and DDSB resources to support them in developing their capacity as beginning teachers. A resource (Being the Change – by Sara K. Ahmed) will be distributed at the first session and used throughout each session.
4B – Visible Learning in Numeracy: In this 3-part series, participants will explore both Ministry and DDSB resources to support them in their capacity as beginning teachers. A resource (Teaching Math With Meaning – by Cathy Marks Krpan) will be distributed at the first session and used throughout each session.
4C – Social Studies Curriculum & Inquiry: In this 3-part series participants will explore both Ministry and DDSB resources to support them in developing their capacity as beginning teachers. A resource (Natural Curiosity 2nd Edition – by Doug Anderson) will be distributed at the first session and used throughout the session.
