"Article L11.02:

e) Cancellation - Daily Occassional Teachers

(i) On the day of an assignment, should the whole or half-day (a.m. or p.m.) assignment be cancelled, and dispatch is unable to book an equivalent, alternative assignment, the Daily Occasional Teacher shall be paid for the time booked and shall perform alternative duties, as assigned."

Note:  If you receive a same day cancellation for a half or full day assignment and have not been reassigned, call dispatch at (905) 666-6901 and ask for a replacement assignment. If you are not reassigned immeadiately, report to the school for which you were cancelled and be prepared to perform alternative duties as assigned. If there is an error in your assignment when you arrive at the school, DO NOT LEAVE the school, contact dispact immediately so you can be reassigned.
